My friend Kay had lived at Meyer Oaks Apartments for over 35 years. Kay is now in a nursing home and I am trying to handle her affairs. Meyer Oaks placed an eviction notice after 9 days of delinquent payment. I stopped by there today to pay this months rent. (using my personal funds at this point). The office person told me they could not accept my check because she was 9 days late and I would need to pay with a cashiers check. Creepy People with a no care attitude. Suggestion.... never live there!
At 10:46am on Sat. 11/22/14, I contacted the office & spoke with Aletha requesting maintenance as my only bath tub in my 1/1 apt had sewage backing up in it. I made another 6 calls to the office during the day requesting a time frame of when the plumber was coming. The last communication I had was right before the office closed at 4:30pm & was told they were on their way. At 6:30pm, STILL, no plumber has showed.
