I’ve been eating at the Mexican Kitchen since I was a baby and it was on Hardy Street. Mr. Frank’s Uncle was running it at the time. Mr. Frank and his staff are absolutle AMAZING and the food is WONDERFUL! The sauce is like no other and very Authentic! Food can be anywhere from 1 to 4 stars, The Tamales, Tacos and salsa are 4. The adult quesadilla was absolutely a 1, It was hard, the cheese had an old smell and they use dark meat for the chicken, aka (thigh meat as listen on menu). You can tell the chicken was was old and had a freezer burnt taste and smell. It basically consisted of cheese, very little chicken. I do prefer the taco shells over chips. The racist atmosphere is very real. If you are black I would avoid this place. You'll will get old food, slow service.
