Had combination plate with cheese and onion enchilada, chicken flauta, and beef taco. All delicious and distinct flavors. Their homemade tortilla chips are the best I've ever had. I'll be back soon and frequently.
First time going since the new owners. I miss some of the old dishes they had that ive enjoyed since I was little. But the food was amazing, along with fast service. We got in and out in 35 minutes. We will be back!
I enjoy the hole menu.... I've never had anything that was less than great....
The service was really good but the food not. The chicken had no flavor and the salsa was bland.

I love the new owners and the new food. If you like authentic Mexican food, then this is the place to go. The servers remember my name and the people in my family every time. I am a vegetarian, and Mexicali is very willing to custom make my order to accommodate my dietary needs. The same goes for my husband, who cannot eat wheat gluten. I am sad to see that some people have given this place a poor review. I guess if you expected nothing to change when new owners took over, you would be disappointed.
