About this business
In 2001 Metzger's re-opened at its current location on Zeeb Road. The restaurant seats 189 people inside and also offers outdoor seating in our Biergarten. We still serve the same great food in a European atmosphere and the family tradition is still alive and well. The current owner John Metzger works multiple nights a week and his parents Walter and Ruth still enjoy dining at the restaurant throughout the week.

This is one of our favorite restaurants for special family celebrations!
We were fans of the "Old German" since the 1960's! Living out of state now; this is my first visit to the new Metzger's. We brought my 88 year old father here for Father's Day (he still lives in Ann Arbor). The atmosphere was nice, the service was excellent and the food was off the charts!!! We will be returning...
