We were told by this title company to pay all the taxes up to date before the closing, which we did. But at the closing, they still took out the tax payments. What's even crazier is that they made those payments a week later without checking or acknowledging that we were told and did pay them already. Since, they said that the new owner's owe the money back to us which isn't going to be resolved ever. Scheduled to do a remote closing at 10am, the agent assigned to my closing had her notary certificate expire so I had to sit around and wait, finally 4 hours later after waiting around for it to get renewed, which it didn't due to errors on the application for it, I was then finally given to someone else which should have just been the case as soon as the problem came to be instead of making the client sit around and wait for your mistakes. I've had a few closings at Metropolitan and everything has always been on time and handled properly. Tasha has been very friendly and helpful and I highly recommend.
