Fresh, selection, customer service, the mongers of Metropolitan have it all. They help you anyway they can.Last week I bought a Red Snapper that they stuffed and packed in salt. Ready for the oven. As good a piece of fish that you would find at the finest seafood restaurant. And all preprepared at Metropolitan. Easier then going out to dinner and just as good, if not better.
It's not hyperbole; this is the greatest fishmonger on the planet. Quality, consistency, variety, knowledge, humor and service like none other. Life would not be the same without Metro Seafood.
Boston Oyster house..forget it. Legal seafood...nice try. Lunch at John George...save your money. Lunch with Mark at Metro..the best anywhere at any price.
I can't believe I waited this long to stop in and try something! My 8 year old daughter and I feasted on the most amazing snow crab legs for dinner. My wife says it's the best crab cake she has ever had! Fresh and amazing! And to tip off the evening, we couldn't wait- for a late night snack we just demolished a half a lb of sashimi grade salmon for 10 bucks that was just as good if not better than the 40 dollar a serving Toro / oro tuna sashimi i have had in restaurants! Their lunch specials are the best anywhere. You get incredible fresh fish, a soup for a little more than the price of a McDonald's meal....except it's 100X better tasting and healthier.
