Update int year later: We love it here! Dr. Bix and her assistant are so friendly, supportive and personable. My teenage daughter said her appt yesterday was the best she's ever had. So far, I'm very impressed with our experience at Metropolitan Pediatrics. I was trying for months to get an appt at another clinic and spent so long on hold with them too. I cannot say enough good things about our lactation consultant Bryna. They are deeply knowledgeable, incredibly intuitive, and — most importantly — profoundly compassionate. I wanted to leave a note about the last person who checked us into our appointment but I don’t remember her name - but she was definitely a kid person, she knew all the songs and really engaged with my grandson. And that’s okay because everyone is so nice there it won’t matter who you get. They are always able to get us an appointment. And it seems like they read about the baby before coming into the room - so they ask the right questions.
This is where you want to take your child for their care! I'm two years into parenthood, and I feel like Metro is a key part of my village, ESPECIALLY our doctor, Dr. Meyer. She always makes the time to chat through everything, and even fit me into her schedule last minute when my daughter's fever got scary high.
