I’m a dentist, and I traveled from Augusta to check out this practice. The staff was incredibly kind and the technology was impressive! Getting a crown the same day and not having to worry about a temp is awesome. I would highly recommend this office to anyone in Columbia.

Upon high recommendation, I called and scheduled a new patient dental cleaning appointment. My first question was asking if they accepted my dental insurance (they even ask for my plan and member ID) and was told they did. Scheduled my cleaning appointment and had bite wing X-Rays. My hygienist did a great thorough job, met the dentist (Dr. Shuler) and all was great, UNTIL I received an invoice for an outstanding balance because THEY ARE NOT IN MY NETWORK (as I was told they were). First of all the front staff never disappoints. Always friendly and helpful. Dr. Metropol is great, caring, knowledgeable and thorough. The newer younger female dentist is also very thorough, takes time to explain and listen. Also takes her time to ensure her work is the best, and that her patient is comfortable. I've only had great and thorough exams and cleanings and an overall positive experience with every team member. Also, the hygienist is very thorough in her cleanings.
