Metropolitan Behavior Center is NOT worthy of going too. My husband truly needed assistance and reached out to the center to move his appointment. Due to the nature of a mental behavior center organization, they are less than forgiving. They do not hesitate in taking funds from your pocket and not seeking treatment. The manager/ supervisor was less than forgiving. My husband ended up seeking treatment somewhere else. The therapist is working well for him. Policies can be changed for the greater good.

If you don’t want the clutch of hens in the front office to discuss your personal issues loudly, where everyone in the waiting room can hear it then don’t come. I know more about other people‘s private visits than I should ever know. HIPAA is not a priority in this office. And when the staff does not read your medication history, they will call you a liar about what you have been on and which you prefer to be on. My husband has dementias. Unfortunately, the phycology's treatment failed him. Metropolitain Behavior failed to follow through and notify with emails, or texting. It is against their POLICY to call up his wife to remind them of the appointment. After disputing this with a woman over the phone and paying the 45.00 fee, she hangs up so we cannot schedule an appointment. My husband needs his prescriptions to keep him stable.
