Similar poor experience to others. Confusing signage/process. $4 unpaid fare and a $54.50 notice fee. First notice! Metropolis is an unprincipled company masquerading as a tech company. Hope Texas follows example of Tennessee attorney general in holding them accountable.
This garage is a complete and straight up scam. As others have said, they intentionally mislead you to believe the parking fee is waived by leaving the gate up, only accepting payment via phone, which has no service, and tacking outrageous notice fees on to 'violations'. 0/10, do not recommend ever stepping foot in any metropolis garage.
NEVER PARK HERE! Used this lot once a year ago and provided all info after scanning the QR code. Lot scanned me out but apparently never completed the payment. Metropolis NEVER contacted me. I get a collections notice a year later, so they must have had my contact info all along. Ended up paying over $60 for a $14 parking. SCAMMY COMPANY!
Total scam. They keep open the gate on entrance and exit. In addition to that they put the signs in the garage: 'Just drive. Go'. So you think it's free, because Mueller is trying to support retail business. WRONG. After more than a month they are sending a charge of $8 plus around $60 for notice. Their scam call center is hardly speaking English and they keep you looping around asking the same questions, claiming that you owe them and that they have your license plate.
