Possible to give less than 1 review? This company should be sued for FRAUD. They are charging erroneous fees for parking that were not selected by the driver. I will be contacting the city about this.
Outrageously overpriced !
There are NO SIGNS SAYING THIS IS A PAY LOT. $75 ticket for eating at a restaurant for 40 minutes. TOTAL RIP OFF. If they stole this money from me with a gun they would go to prison for ten years.
If I could give them zero stars, I would. I scanned the QR code to view the cost of parking and was immediately charged for parking in the lot without clicking to confirm. When I called customer service, I was told that I should be more careful with what I’m clicking instead of them apologizing for the scam they’re running. Metropolis is a giant scam overcharging for parking and refusing to allow customers to change the duration of their parking. Do NOT park here.
I hope this lot is bulldoze, they don’t advertise it and then charge $31 locked for 12 hours. The city of Decatur should do better if it wants to be a popular tourist destination. Absolutely embarrassing. Every other lot is 10 bucks and then this one sneaks you in for $31.
