QR Code of Spothero did not work, had to call the customer service of the parking garage. They said I have to take a ticket. Trying to leave the garage the ticket showed I have to pay 47USD. Tried to use the build in speaker, they did not work at the exit. So I went to the speaker at the entrance gate and give them all my data, but they could only open the "Entrance Gate and not the Exit Gate". Took me more than 30 minutes to leave the garage. Metropolis is known to be the worst parking company in Chicago. Avoid avoid avoid.
Very good, no safety complaints. I used to park here and stay in another building overnight it was very convenient. Note that I never keep any items in my car. Used this garage about 10 times on SpotHero and my only problem was that once it took me about 3 extra minutes to leave because a delivery truck was blocking further down in the alley.
Horrible experience all around. They overcharged for a full month when I moved out of the building early in the month. When you charge $300/month and tell me you don’t do partial refunds due to “terms of service”? Thats is straight up fraudulent, dishonest, and theft. Also, the actual license plate scanners are broken so you’ll get stuck in the garage constantly and have to call the support number just to leave. All the other positive reviews on here are fake.
Terrible security, got a monthly parking spot here and my car was stolen in less than 2 weeks.
