They took over an hour for the food
It WAS my most favorite restaurant but our recent visit was disappointment.
The in house made creamed biscuits and gravy was delicious. I felt they could have built out the description a bit more on the menu to capture what you would get. It was a pleasant surprise as the breakfast food included with the 21C Hotel room I booked. Staff was helpful and hospitable.
Quiet for good table conversation. Very attentive staff. Excellent quality offerings. Array of drinks to induge yourself.
Update: I don’t know if there are new chefs or new management, but the food was so bad when I went back in June 2026. The duck was rancid and none of the food was seasoned. The steak was also the worst steak we have ever eaten. So sad that the quality has gone down from where it used to be. Previous review from Fall 2025: SO SO GOOD. Favorites were the wedge salad, garlic focaccia, and beef tartare, but everything else was so yummy. Very kind staff on a busy Friday night and everything was delicious.
