Literally the best breakfast of my life. Even our picky teenager enjoyed his meal. Definitely try the pancakes and grits!
First time visiting. The restaurant is nice inside. But we don't think we will be back! Out of four Shareable apps out of all but the $8.00 tiny loaf of bread. We wanted to share the salad. Only fine dining restaurant we have ever been too that just brought out an extra bowl for us to split at the table. Instead of splitting it in the kitchen. The salad was really good. Metropole is the perfect pre-show dining spot if you’re heading to the Aronoff Center. It’s just across the street, which made our evening incredibly seamless. The atmosphere is sophisticated yet welcoming, and the service was paced perfectly for our 7:30 PM curtain time.
We stopped by for dinner before a show. Service was great and friendly. Food was great. I enjoyed all the different bourbons. My wife got a special themed Back to the Future drink, which is the show we were going to see, which was a nice little touch. Then we just walked across the street to see our show. Will absolutely be going back.
We came to celebrate a special occasion with two other people and sadly weren’t impressed with the meal. So basic and felt like the chefs were really phoning it in. We had a $300+ bill and I could’ve made better versions of each item at home. The food was tasty, but for the prices they charge, you expect better presentation and flavors that rock your world.
