The Hospital bills separately from the provider. So a 15 minute visit to have a small bump biopsied (literally scraped off) cost 1300 out of pocket, with insurance. Hospital billed like 800 just for the room…. I’d look for a small private practice instead.
I was seen by Dr. Nour Yacoub the dermatology dept regarding hypopigmentation from a laser burn in October. She basically told me there was no hope of skin re-pigmentation and there was nothing she could or was willing to do to treat me. It was a complete and total waste of my time and money because I was sent a bill for $110, only to be told by a doctor to NOT hope for healing. Thanks the good Lord, I did not lose hope and my pigment is starting to return and I am healing beautifully. Moral of the story - Due your due dilig... read more
Can't get an appointment, next appt. not for months out.
I developed a rash 3.5 yrs ago... not gone ! Doctors don't even know what it is yet... said it was eczema... hope someone figures it out... it's a nightmare!
