Avoid at all costs!! We were charged $3,576.60 for my daughter’s ambulance service for a 2.8 mile trip from Elmhurst University to Endeavor Health. Our two insurances paid all but $86. I spoke to them today and they refuse to waive the $86 balance and have sent us into collections!! This charge is beyond reasonable and so is their customer service!
I have been with metro part time for almost two years and as a company, they have been wonderful to work for. Thank you for the free tickets to multiple events!
The town I live in contracts with Metro to provide paramedic firefighters that staff the fire department ambulances. I have had the need to call for their service after an incident at my home. The crews were incredible. I was treated by knowledgeable paramedics that showed exemplary skill, empathy and respect, before, during and after transporting me to a local hospital. If these paramedics are any example of the staff hired by this company, I would say any town would be well served by using their services.
