All I can do is laugh at these reviews! Every negative review is right on point, every one of them! The roaches! The water being shut off every week. You can’t even make this up! Rent increases are over the top! So we moved out 2 years ago to move to Texas!!! I never did a review for this place because I was so mad that we actually had to live there for five years. Wow! What happened? So many bad reviews. I lived there when it was Epernay apartments back in 2004. It was great! Never had issues with pests, had a couple minor maintenance things that happened to take a little bit to get to but understandable considering the amount of units. The rent was super cheap compared to back home in the northeast. I mean there were issues with the neighboring community but there’s always going to be something. Where do I even start? After 5 years, my family was forced to move out of the apartment because the roaches in the pipes were so bad that we couldn’t eat, sleep or live. It was unbearable. We reported the roaches over and over, letting them know that it was coming from the pipes in the kitchen but all they did was regular pest control service and make us turn the apartment upside down over and over to fumigate, but we knew that wasn’t going to work because the problem was INTERNAL. Lot of surprise bills. What ever rent you are told add $300 to it in hidden fees per month. Worse is the only way to pay is with their online app, and you get charged a convenience fee. You have to pay to be able to pay your rent. What makes it worse is they are profiting off the hidden fees, for example they will charge you $14 for renters insurance but when you get the plan in the mail you find out it only cost $4 a month.
