I already knew that Metro Market in Madison offered the most outstanding customer service than any other market I've shopped at but today they went above outstanding. The store manager saw me taking shelter from the heavy rains and without saying a word he went into the store, came back out with an umbrella and offered to walk me to my car. They are definitly the Five Star Diamond of Markets in my opinion.
I like metro market, but they over cook the steaks. Ask for them very rare if you want medium rare because medium rare gets you well done. The sushi is good (it's hard to over cook that).
We have jelly bean popcorn, in store hand rolled Sushi made to order, fresh Salmon and meat butchered and cooked to order for free, home made fudge and 4lb bread baked in store! In the world of grocery retailers, our customer service is impeccable! Why wouldn't you shop here?
The initial store and concept is great, and was staffed properly for the first year. The store now as is, is quite honestly understaffed with employees with little to no product knowledge.
Mia in the bakery you did a wonderful job on the cake for Dana. Thank you for calling me yesterday for the boo boo with Dana's picture and you promised you would come up with something wonderful and you did!
This is a great grocery store that increases the desirability of the east side neighborhood. Their excellent customer service and creative food and bakery offerings are among the many reasons I enjoy shopping there.
