I am new to the area, and I was looking for a primary care doctor who specializes in internal medicine as I am diabetic. Dr Garnett was close to me, and I liked what I read online. I just had my first visit and it was a great experience. The staff is very friendly, and Dr Garnett took the time to get to know me. I don't think any other doctor I've had did that. I'm glad I chose Dr Garnett, and I recommend him and the Metro Healthy Communities to anyone else looking.
I’m writing this review on behalf of my friend. He had a very disappointing experience. They waited until the day before his appointment to tell him he had submitted the wrong income document, even though the document was listed as acceptable. He offered to send the correct one immediately, but they still pushed his appointment back a full week, despite him running out of medication. Very poor communication and little flexibility

I'm a new patient who recently moved to Florida, and my experience with Cindy Risser at Metro Health Center was very disappointing Their system clearly states that a tax document is accepted as proof of income for the sliding fee application, so that's what I uploaded. Yet at 4:50 PM the day before my appointment, she called to tell me I had uploaded the wrong document and now needed proof of my last 30 days of income instead.
