So very disappointed in the Charleston shrimp and grits. I have had this many times in the past and this was not made the same way and I couldn't even eat it all. If I hadn't got it for a takeout I would had returned it after I took the lid off just by the way it looked! It was a waste of my money.
The food was delicious, my family of 5 only had to wait 10-15 minutes to get a table on a packed Sunday . We were seated and almost immediately greeted by the waiter . The food came from the kitchen within 10-15 minutes and was still hot and good , I’d recommend this restaurant every time .
On the day we went they were short-staffed. Not the fault of our waitress who was working her butt off. Have been there several times. Love their food. It is a diner. It has the total atmosphere of a diner.
