Delicious Food, but Slow Service Had brunch at Metro Diner this morning and ordered the chicken and waffles—absolutely amazing! The fried chicken was cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside and incredibly moist inside. The waffles were light, fluffy, and paired perfectly with the delicious strawberry butter. I come to this diner a lot because the food and prices are above board. Another reason I come is for the service staff, rarely does the staff figure in to the decision on where to eat, but this location breaks that rule. The staff is friendly and has only your needs to fulfill. I had Christine as my server and she was helpful and friendly and quick to bring my beverage and shortly thereafter my meal. Ms Cristie is very sweet and helpful and she was very happy. She give us our order on time. She read back our order before paid. She needs a pay raise. I highly recommend this place and I highly recommend her as waiter. She even asked if we wanted a drink to go and she even doubled checked our food before we left.
