We were quoted a 40 min wait and it ended up an 1:40 min wait! The manager didn't initially offer any restitution just the excuse that we were over quoted and she was sorry but today is their busiest day of the year. Then my toast was burnt and the replacement was cold. The butter never melted. At the end of the bad meal the manager came back said she would pay for our meal since it didn't go well. Good Customer service was not on the menu today. We should have dined elsewhere.
Bit noisey
I read about Metro Diner on Diners, Drive-ins & Dives, found the Jacksonville Beach location on a recent trip...I can't reccommend it enough! The food was delicious, and EVERYONE working there was smiling, and truly seemed to enjoy their customers...a mark of great management! If you haven't been, don't wait, once you go you'll be back for sure! Wish I lived closer :)

Excellent diner , Great food n amount for the price and absolutely beautiful scenery.
I will never go here again. Horrible doesn't even describe this place. The eggs are never prepared right and they have missed or forgotten our names on the waiting list more than once. Including this Easter morning... Incompetent is the only way I can think of describing the staff without using vulgarity.
The best chicken and waffles
Awesome food yes there is usually a line but it moves very fast. service is great and no other restraunt in town has a menu like theres.if you haven't tried them your missing out.
