My family and I really like this place. The staff is always friendly, from the person who greets you as you arrive until someone holds the door when you leave and wishes you well and safe travels. I can't say I've ever had bad food here but last evening the country fried steak with mashed potatoes was just up to par. There was something about the gravy that wasn't right. Love Metro Diner at Jax Beach. The fried chicken is scrumptious and the meatloaf is to die for! Good quick service too! My out-of-town company always want to go back there -- and the wait is never as long as you think it will be.

We love Metro Diner and take pretty much all of our guests here. Today unfortunately I had to send my Burger back, I feel bad when I have to do this anywhere but I am extremely picky and if I see any pink at all I will not eat it, and yes I DID order it well done. ALWAYS so good. Aaron was a great server even though he was super slammed and it was almost close. There's no more consistent place for that size menu. I'm never disappointed.
Awesome... lots of food for a great price. Entire staff is friendly.
Waiter was less than attentive. We had to ask for everything. The corned beef has in no way matched the description on the menu. Additionally I asked for it to be well browned. Instead what I got showed no evidence of ever having hit the griddle. I would've sent it back, but it took a ridiculously long time to even get it. Oh. The place was super loud as well. My experience was VERY disappointing!
