It's all about the money now! Not only has this place become disorganized over the past few years but the administration is trying to increase their financial gains! Gone are the days of the non-profit status as they make their way to becoming a corporate, for-profit home. The people in charge are no longer committed to providing the staff needed to ensure proper care of our precious elderly. Teeth aren't getting brushed! Showers are being skipped! Very caring, compassionate people in a very nice facility.
Methodist cared for my mom with respect. During her 16 months as a resident, the staff gave her dignity that Parkinson's had stripped from her. Being a family member that had never had to admit a loved one into a nursing home was tough, but Methodist eased that hurt and guilt by their daily love and laughter. In my opinion, the road leading into the facility should be paved with gold bricks.
My mother was in rehab at Methodist for three weeks and I can't say enough good things about the care she received as well as the friendliest staff ever.
A great place and facility for rehab and recovery. In addition to a full scale skill nursing facility. It brings me peace and comfort to know that the caretakers actually care for the residents.
Our mom has only been there a few weeks, but we are so very grateful for the care she is receiving. There seems to be good community among the residents, and the entire staff has worked to make us feel happy and secure. We think it is wonderful!
