Dr. Gomez in the Emergency department is AWESOME! She was very compassionate, caring , and thorough! I would give her 10 stars if I could!!

I brought my elderly mother in after her PCP, cardiologist and orthopedic Dr’s told me to. He was afraid she could be having mini strokes from her reaction to pain medication prescribed by the orthopedic Dr for her broken collarbone. We waited almost 4 hours to be seen. The NP was nonchalant and had no empathy to the pain my Mom was in. She was so rude and had a horrible attitude! She did not listen and I would not wish her on my worst of enemies. Very poor communication. Was sent from another hospital for a procedure and they wouldn't do it. Didn't consult with her Dr and sent her home only to schedule it later

What happened Methodist? Went to the emergency room and the initial interactions were horrible. The front desk person who checked us in wore a mask and had a nasty attitude because we couldn't understand what she was saying. The entire processing staff seemed disinterest and pissed about something. NOW! Once we got a room in ER it was like 2 different hospitals! The RN's, The Doctor and The Xray Tech were so kind and professional. 2 totally different experiences.
