I had to go the ER here a few years ago. And they were amazing! I have no complaints at all. They did an excellent job at everything they did.
I’m currently in the emergency department with my eighty-year-old mother-in-law who was brought here by ambulance from the memory care facility where she lives. From the time I arrived the most information I have received as from the very kind EMT who drove her here. After he left I registered her with a very nice lady. It’s been over an hour since I arrived and my mother in law, who has Alzheimer’s, is still on the gurney she was brought in on, in the hallway of the E.D. When the triage nurse took me back to her room and close the door she came at me like a pitbull was asking me questions faster than I could give for an answer. She didn't listen to a word that I said about symptoms. I can see why this place has such bad reviews
The sitter Alma Reed was distasteful, unprofessional, and caused my blood pressure to sky rocket due to her treatment. She believed her only job was to create a safe environment but she caused it to be a nightmare. I will never come back and may think of following up with the Ethics board in regards to her treatment of me as a patient.
