The therapist did not allow me to elaborate before trying to confine me in an inpatient program that I wouldn’t be able to leave. What a terrible experience.
My brother was there for three weeks and the staff kept on changing so there was no consistent care when asked to find out about the medication's that helped him. My son put himself in there. He didn't receive the help he needed. And when they found out that he was having trouble with his insurance, they sent him away, with a bus pass. I called them several times about this, and just would get their voice message, and they would never return my call. They are just interested in getting money and not helping.
I came in at 3am 5/21 ready to take 100 units of insulin with no food, and was told that wasn't psychiatric; but medical and not an emergency. I literally described self-bye-bying myself and was told to go away. Wild. Guess I'll do it. Nurses are heroes. Lmao
