The medical care and service were excellent, but the billing experience has been extremely frustrating. HealthPartners has been unwilling to work directly with Cigna to resolve billing discrepancies, leaving me to spend countless hours going back and forth between the insurance company and the billing department. If you’re on the search for a birthing place with rude staff that speaks to you like you’re an uninformed kindergartener, pushes unnecessary interventions, & completely disregards your birth plan, look no further! Totally regret giving birth here. There’s nothing “birth center” about this place, besides they have a couple gross yoga balls you can labor on. Fully expect to be pushed into induction, bothered with the constant adjustment of monitors throughout laboring, given IVs of who knows what, having to give birth flat on ... read more

Do not listen to the vague positive reviews of this birth center. Don't use this birth center if you want a natural birth with no intervention. They will pretend to be on your side. They will disrespect your preferences and coerce you. They will take over your delivery room. They will perform procedures and act without your consent. I transferred very late in labor from an attempted home birth solely for elevated BP. Check-in was so slow despite my obvious frequent and intense contractions.
