The level of care I received in the emergency was awful!!
My wife and I have had 2 kids born at Methodist and have never had an issue with our care there, but after the experience we had this year, we will not be going back. A few months ago we received a nearly $1000 bill from the hospital for services performed TWO YEARS AGO at the birth of our last child. It turns out that the bill was submitted to our insurance promptly, and the insurance sent the co-pay amount to the hospital, but the hospital never sent that bill to us -- for 2 years! We visited family in the hospital. Drove approximately 6 1/2 hours from southeast TN. The drive was fantastic and the visit with family was magnificent.
Was sent to get some radiolgy test in Germantown location. My experience was outstanding!! This was NOT their infamous ER experience which is generally 1 star. This was main entrance, check in and people were incredibly prepared, on time, nice (they smiled oh wow) and really cared about the experience. Walking you (literally) person to person. Great experience and highly recommend (not the ER) but the main hospital scheduled visits.
