Like the general stores of yore. They have everything you need and more all packed into a historic building with raw whiffs of nostalgia.
This has typically been a local staple stop for myself and my family, given we’ve lived in Metchosin 20+yrs. The store has historically been wonderfully convenient and well priced, but in just the last couple of months, there’s been a marked spike in their pricing. Just today i purchased a bag of dog treats, protein powder, and cottage cheese…$71.00?? :(( genuinely saddened that their prices are so high, as it’s been deterring myself and my extended relatives from stopping in.
