As a current resident I highly recommend not renting here. Pool remains closed during heat wave. Ants, roaches and bed bugs do live in this building. Metcap is so unprofessional and clearly can’t manage their apartment buildings and the one amenity (POOL). Residents are overly frustrated as another neighbour constantly pulls the fire alarm with no fine or jail time. This building is one of the worst in Ottawa.

If metcap living is on your lease, save your money. Rent somewhere else. They don't do anything. They're disgustingly dirty. They block you out of garbage rooms. They do absolutely nothing about mold and bad air quality in the buildings. They are personally responsible for giving five people in my current building COPD because of the air quality and the lack of cleaning. I recently used their website to book a viewing over the weekend. A few hours after I booked it, they automatically rescheduled it to a few days earlier and at a different time (during the week). On the automated email I received, I had the option to reschedule, which I did. I rescheduled for the weekend as I work during the week. I highly recommend against renting an apartment at 2880 Carling Avenue. The alarm went off all night - and it was Sunday. I left a message on the emergency line - because the kids were supposed to stay the next night. Stupid women took my requests - and did not respond in any way. No one cared. Don't even think about renting an apartment there!
