Awesome sandwiches! Stop here when ever we pass through Damriscota.
I drive over an hour , just to have one of their delicious subs.
Visiting Maine we had to stop by Metcalf's as I was intrigued by the name,as it's very common where I'm from in Yorkshire,England! The sandwiches were delicious! All made there fresh and to order with an amazing array of choices.Will definitely be back!!
In the area for a week ate their sandwiches 3 times and it would have been 4 but they were closed on Sunday. Great subs!
