Yesterday, 4/10, I received an email about from a Metasys recruiter about an opportunity that could be a great match for me. That was at 4:49 PM EST. Approx. 10 minutes later I sent an email inquiring about the pay rate. This morning, 4/11, I sent another email to follow with the Metasys recruiter since he had never replied. His eventual reply hours later mentioned that the position had closed the day before 4/10 at 5:00 PM EST, only 11 minutes after he initially emailed me about the same role. This seems to be a scam. Notice all of the people praising this place seemingly have Indian names (for the most part) and don't go into detail about why it's awesome place to work. They sent me a job in Texas, when I live on the East Coast and have no desire or can even afford to move out to Texas. Please report these people. Don't give them your personal information.
I had an off-shore recruiter get my resume forwarded for a position about two and a half weeks ago, and since I hadn't heard any news since then, I tried to call him. Both his office and cell phone seemed to be deactivated and wouldn't let me leave a voicemail. I tried emailing him, and the email came back undeliverable.
