I had the same results with their weights. I knew exactly how much metal I had and my empty weight. They where 900 pounds heavy on my empty weight. DO NOT go there, they are criminal!! They are used to doing business with all the local crack heads that do nothing but sell stolen scrap. Their prices seem higher, but in reality they are the same as everyone else. The workers there are so rude and they screw you over on scrap prices! If you can find another business to scrap with, then scrap with them. Stay away from here as much as you can. Its worth an extra 2 or 3 bucks in gas to go somewhere else.

THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF EVERY CHANCE THEY GET!!!! I LET THEM KNOW THEY ARE NOT GOING TO RIP ME OFF AND STILL EVERY SINGLE TIME THEY STILL TRY AND HAVE TO ARGUE AND GET TICKET REPRINTED WITH THE CORRECT WEIGHT!!!!! THEY SAY THERE CAN BASKETS WEIGH MORE THAN THEY REALLY DO, ACCORDING TO THERE SCALES A BASIC WILL WEIGH 5 POUNDS AND THEY SAY IT WEIGHS 8-9. I love the website! Diana looks beautiful, as always. Went there today by myself with my four year old daughter. Apparently an employee saw I was having a hard time doing the cans and keeping my daughter close by. He came over and helped me and made the whole experience so much easier! Great employees, they are all very friendly. I would def. take my cans back there again!

I have had really good service from the employees at metal check. They are usually very busy, but have always taken the time to help out when needed. I have seen these workers go above and behond to help customers with all their recycling needs.
