MetLife is corrupt & they are abusive with their business practices. They are criminals & knowingly violate the law. I supposedly had an overpayment in 2019, that I requested validation & officially disputed. My requests were ignored. Fast forward to 2022… I had a serious injury & had to file a claim for STD. Horrendous customer service. Nothing but robots on the phone, and if you manage to get someone they are foreigner from around the world. Their online system is horrible can pay certain policies on line but not others. Farmers insurance took over a portion of met life nothing like getting double billed from both companies.

Do not pay these people money. Even if it’s a policy through the company you work for. Complete scam. Case workers are extremely rude. I was on short term disability for months. They paid me once $600. They still owe me over $1,000 and they closed my case because my therapist wouldn’t give them notes from our sessions, which might I add they don’t even do in court. Absolutely ridiculous. Would at least like the money for the premiums I paid even when I was on leave from work and had no income especially not from MetLife.
