i love the place! The Mestad's in St. Cloud, MN is a very well upkept, friendly kind of place. I went there for the first time today with a few of my friends, and the staff was so friendly and helpful! Oh, and the dresses, my god were they grogeous. Great Service, Great Deals, and One Bridal Dress Later When I was looking for a wedding dress, I checked out Mestad's Bridal & Formal Wear. As soon as I walked into the store, I was very impressed- they had beautiful dresses and a huge selection. Awesome bridal & formal wear store! I have to disagree with the other negative reviews on here! I have purchased one of my prom dresses from Mestad's, along with my wedding gown. I am getting married in October of this year and I am also in two other weddings as a bridesmaid, so needless to say I have been to MANY bridal stores in the past five months or so! Excellent dress choices!! I recently went to Mestad's to look for a prom dress with my daughter. The sales staff, Makeala and Julie were fabulous! They knew exactly what styles would work for my daughter and had excellent advice. It was an enjoyable shopping experience and I would highly recommend shopping at Mestad's!!
Very Unhappy I would not recommend anyone to go to Mestads in St. Cloud. My sister and I went dress shopping and had looked on the web prior to going. She found a couple bridesmaid dresses that she wanted to look at and printed pictures of them off the sites. We went to three other places before going to Mestads. Mestad's Bridal & Formal Wear is JUST WONDERFUL & VERY PROFESSIONAL!! This was my first and last stop for not only my wedding dress but also my sister's bridesmaid dress. We found both and purchased them right on the spot. My wedding dress I purchased off the rack but it's was flawless still. My sister's dress had to be ordered in for the correct colors but they had one in stock that she could try on. Check other places I was disappointed in how Mestad's handled our dress order. We found a bridal dress, Maggie Satero brand, and were told they had to charge the prices they did because Maggie would pull their license. Interestingly, we found online shops carrying many Maggie dresses and they were cheaper - a little over $100 cheaper. They measured my daughter and said she was a six at the waist, and a four or two on top. The dress came way too big, and with a spot. Terrible! My experience with Mestads has been terrible to say the least. I am a bridesmaid in a wedding that is 10 days away. I went to pick up the dresses 3 weeks ago (August 12th), and mine was the only one missing. I told them to send it to me when it arrives because the wedding is coming up quickly, and I may need to have it altered etc... They said that was fine.
