I tried to use my messa insurance card at a CVS to fill a prescription. I was told I was not ony wife's insurance which was a lie and that MESSA wanted my other insurance to be billed first. I don't have other insurance. They also don't have a way to solve this problem after 5pm. So I can't do anything about it and MESSA isn't helping.
Garbage 7k deductible for a family of 3 is criminal this what I get for having a career in education.. laughable!
I’ve had MESSA insurance for a number of years. Something has happened. Customer service is horrible. I actually had a representative HANG UP on me the other day. Now, I received a letter saying that MESSA will no longer be covering GLP1s (weight loss medications). There’s no reason for this except for Messa just not want to pay! I’m really disappointed that I have to choose this company. There is no option to leave zero stars so unfortunately they get one.
I dislike dealing with this company but am forced to as my job uses them. Customer service is horrid, communication is terrible, and lack of proper information is a huge issue here. Dealing with claims is a nightmare. The cost of MESSA is higher than other insurances or more when comparing premiums from outside their quotes, and I wish we had a choice to go with another company. I hated having to call or message them. Really just wish they didn't have a connection to so many employers so we can choose a different alternative... read more
