good hospital Friendly comfortable hospital. All rooms are private, food is good, and staff is well trained and knowledgable. Many different services are available, including various equiptment to do xray tests, sonograms, ct scans, and other tests. All my requests were promptly answered. I was keept up to date as to my condition.
Sent Away When I was pregnant with my last child, I went into premature labor. I have some medical issues, so my pregancy was quite complicated. However, when this happened, we naturally went to the closest hospital, this one. The emergency room staff sent us away! I could not believe it. Not because I didn't need to be seen, but because I had complications. The nurse actually said, "Why did you come *here*? You should have gone to Parkland." EMERGENCY CARE I HAVE TAKEN MY SON THERE ON EMERGENCY OCCASIONS. MY EXPERIENCE WITH THEM WAS A GOOD ONE. VERY CLEAN, NICE PEOPLE AND SEEM TO CARE ABOUT WHAT THEY ARE DOING.
Mesquite Community Hospital now Dallas Regional Women's Health Center I would never let anyone I love or care about go to this hospital. Further, I would never want to go to this hospital either. The bottom line is about profit and the owners/administration do not care about their patients, physicians, employees or the community.
Don't go unless you HAVE to... The doctors and staff I have incountered there are so unprofessional I couldn't recommend it unless you were in a dire emergency. When one of the teachers I work with had to go in for knee replacement surgery a doctor came out to talk to her husband (this was not the surgeon preforming the operation) and told him that his wife was "just too plain fat" to have it. The doctor listed several complications that could arise from the diabetes ... and so on. This doctor was speaking to the wrong man. ... read more
