Good food The original location isn't as nice or as tended to as the new locations, but it's really good mexican food. The salsa is excellent!! Good place for families, reasonable prices and a big menu. Friendly staff that has been tehre a long time and know what they are doing.
Good quality TexMex close to home – This restaurant is a great place to go with your wife and kids. Not so much if you're looking for a romantic evening out. Recently food quality and service has been inconsistent. A great frozen margarita and a good beer selection are things you can count on.
Great Mexican – I tried this place on a recommendation from a friend and was very pleased with the quality of food and service. This is a great neighborhood eatery. Thumbs up.

Wish it was just a little more consistent! – Mesa Rosa is one of the few convenient places to get Mexican food in the Four Points area... we've eaten there several times simply for that fact, and there are some redeeming items on the menu. Ughhh! – Mesa Rosa is a joke to mexican food. The Food is horrible! I'd rather eat at taco bell. The food cancels out the okay service. Never dine here in my opinion.
badfajitas – I ordered fajitas and they looked like yesterdays when they arrived. Over done and bits and pieces. My wife ordered cheese enchiladas and got chicken enchiladas. we were also charged extra for tortillas for my daughter. not happy with food and service.
Excellent eats – Mesa Rosa is so good, I've got to rank it in the top 3-4 in Austin for Mexican food. The enchiladas are really good and they have good fajita beef tacos. I usually order a lot here and eat it all. Try the enchiladas verdes or suizas. My friend likes the veggie quesadillas.
