Upscale without being uppity – We had a 7:45PM reservation and were not sure if we would feel like moths in a room full of butterflies since we were not "dressed up". What is In & Out? – OMG!!! I had the best burger in the world, no wait, the universe. It was so juicy and beefy!!!!!. The patty is not your typical mass produced mechanically grounded beef. Great Place!!! – We were seated right at the time the reservation was made for. The sevice was great! The waiter knew the food. The Mojito was the best I have had anywhere..and i've had plenty! I had the NY Steak. it was great but my wife's filet was more tender but not as flavorful (but still excellent). The menu said the filet was coffee crusted, I dont like coffee. Fantastic – Had dinner here and it was amazing! I have to say first we sat at the bar and David C was super friendly and made great margaritas. They have a nice selection of tequila and a great wine list too. For dinner, we had the squash blossem's and they are very tasty. I had the NY steak and it was also amazing. Not Bad – Well we had our second trip to Mesa Grill this weekend (06/23/06) for our Reception dinner. I was sadly disappointed. The food while still delicious was not as good as the first visit (4/05). As I do love spicey food, it seemed like the chef's in the back got a little carried away. I had to cut the outside edge off the Pork Tenderloin, it was just too hot!! I ordered Lemonade and it tasted more like watered down Crystal Light. Delicious but DO not order a salad as an entree! – We (Summerlin residents) drove in 108 degree heat for our second visit to Mesa Grill in Caesars Palace....Sadly the 'Cuban Burger' was off the menu. I ordered Bobby's grilled chicken salad thinking it would be excellent...well......the salad arrived in a gargantuan bowl with high sides dwarfing the deflated puddle of greens....the four thin chicken strips were good but the amount of greens was unbelievably tiny under it.....I had to pace myself so that I could finish my meal... read more
I expected more from an Iron Chef – We went in with a party and got average service. You could get better service at a chain restaurant. The server didn't care about our table at all. I wish I had spent my lunch somewhere else.
Great! Went twice in 2 days! – Loved Mesa Grill! The food is amazing. We enjoyed our meal so much, we returned the next day for lunch. Also, my husband bought me 2 Bobby Flay cookbooks after eating there!
