We had a great experience with Merry Maids. Of course, I did set up the date I needed services well in advance. I received a reminder phone call the day before and the crew showed up, with their supervisor, as scheduled. My house looked amazing.....so clean. And my husband laughed for me to say that since I’m very meticulous when I clean. Will use Merry Maids service again!

My elderly aunt had Merry Maids cleaning her house. They stole 200 Vicodin pills from her. Police report no. 1738951. She now has to wait 6 months to get more pain pills since they just replenished the first 100 that were stolen! Do not use as they are thieves.
Absolutely horrible experience dealing with Merry Maids and their owner for Rochester, NY. We have found another cleaning service 2 months ago and for the exact same price, then do twice the job and you don't have to deal with a pompus guy that's the owner. My experience was the exact same sk36 that wrote her review in March 2011. The owner comes to visit our house after we already have had service for 6 months and says "we don't pick anything up." Wonderful Service – I can't say enough about the wonderful service i recieved with Merry Maids. I had a one time cleaning getting ready for spring and they did such a great job I am considering having them as a regular service. I am not as mobile as I use to be and having such caring, detail oriented girls clean my house was quite a gift! They cleaned my house from top to bottom and even cleaned my windows! I have already recommended merry maids to several friends and family...Thank you Debbie and Kelly!
Cleaned to Perfection – I had the Merry Maids clean my home in early March 2011 and I can't begin to tell you how professional this crew of workers are. Not only do they complete the standard cleaning, but they then performed a super deep clean. From the base boards to the ceiling, every surface was sparkling clean. Great Service – Merry Maids has been cleaning my home since September. They are always very professional. The staff is very nice and conscientuous about my needs. I love coming home to a nice clean home!! I would highly recommend this service.
Don't waste your time – Do not waste your time having them provide you a free estimate if your house has anything on the floors or countertops or other surfaces. After touring my house and using my bathroom, I was told by the new owner that "we don't pick up" When I mentioned to him that if I was going to pick up everything then I would also be able to clean everything, he abruptly left my house after telling me that we were not a good fit.
