Theresa to our home to give us an estimate. She was right on time, very professional and friendly and new what she was doing. We were originally going to have a random house cleaner at a slightly lower price, however Theresa explained the difference and we are SO happy we went with her recommendation! Total waste of time for $173. One person spent half hour cleaning the top of the fridge while the counter alongside never got touched.!! My invisible fence device to keep my dogs from the kitchen was moved to the back of the kitchen, while two trash cans were moved to the front of the kitchen. Later when i got home, 3 Labradors had the contents spread in the kitchen, dining room, and living room. Had them coming every other week for past year, at first quality was good but as time went on things went down hill. I would call them and they would come out again and fix what you pointed out but not really clean the whole house. Finally I started taking pictures. The owner said my standards where too high. Poisoned My Family Merry Maids left a gas burner on in our home while cleaning - filling the entire house with natural gas! My wife called me frantically while I was at work. She noticed she had a headache then discovered that the gas was on. After turning off the gas, she fled the house with the baby, called our doctor, and when I got home I still smelled gas throughout the house. Ordered Merry Maids of Anderson, SC, online and had a call from owner that night booking two weeks in advance and received my quote. Also moved one day after at the owners request. The night before the owner called again to say she made a mistake and that my estimate did not include my "pet fee" but since it was so late, she would only charge me HALF of the additional $150. Easy to set-up service, kind customer service and the cleaners did an amazing job cleaning my home! It smells so clean, even after a week!
We have been a client of merry maids for over 3 years. We are scheduled for once a month cleanings. We have been flexible each time they have changed our cleaning days and even gave Christmas bonuses to the maids. During the rude confirmation voicemail a comment was made that " I hope the house isn't too filthy" ( due to them not showing up and then showing up on a day they were not scheduled). These people are not trustworthy. Do not use them. Scheduled a friday appointment with a tuesday estmate date. MONDAY CALLED and canceled with a rescedule of maybe 2 to 3 weeks. Don't trust them to follow through.
Laurie came to clean and she only half way did the living room, kitchen, one bedroom and a half bath. She did not dust everything and did not do a complete cleaning and she charged 500.00. Yes I should have inspected but I was outside when she got finished and that's my mistake.
