This was one of the worst financial experiences I’ve ever had. I made it very clear to my Merrill Lynch advisor that I do NOT understand investing and that my LIFE SAVINGS needed to be kept safe. I specifically said: if there is any chance of losing money, do not do it. I was not looking for risk — I was looking for protection and stability.
