Just wanted to 'weigh in' on this person who, while posing as a counselor, would be better suited to be seeking therapy herself. Merril disregarded in depth psychological evaluations which cost a total of $3k for my X and myself, included in depth testing (MMPI) and lengthy, hours long dialogues with a PHD. This PHD determined that my X has narcissistic personality disorder, avoidance tendencies, and is passive aggressive. This counselor told my children as I was going through a divorce that “your mom and dad love each other and hopefully they can work it out”.
