They were over 1hr 30m late seeing me for the emergency appointment that NHS111 sent me 30mi on public transport to attend. I was stood the whole time, unable to sit due to excruciating pain. Offered no relief, water or food. A gentleman came in having a severe panic attack, citing horrific intent to do something to himself, and they told him to sit down and wait. Outstanding service. We called 111 for my son and were seen by two nurse practitioners - Sipiwe and Michael and they gave excellent clear advice. Swift diagnosis and explanation and bedside manner . Thank you very much for your help - it meant a lot .
I arrived only two minutes late for my appointment because the car park was completely full and traffic was backed up trying to get in. Despite being in excruciating pain, I was met with raised voices and told my appointment had been cancelled on the spot. The way I was spoken to was a disgrace and an embarrassment to the NHS. Patients deserve empathy and understanding, especially when they’re already suffering. Very poor service, I did not wanted to give them a star, I've been trying to call them but no one is recieving the call, does anyone even stays at the reception??? If no one receives the call why would they even put the number this is sick GPS and hospital are actually no use.
My son has an appointment. He is autistic, and they made us wait for over an hour to see him. The receptionist didn’t speak to us or offer any help, even after I explained my son’s situation
