Great service, honest staff - recommending to my friends I just had a great experience at this Merlin shop. They did a quick diagnosis and then took me BACK into the shop and showed me my brakes and what was going on under my car. I've never had this experience in an auto-shop before - I feel like I learned something about what they were servicing and felt assured that they were expert and honest. I'll definitely go back I took my Honda to them today for brake repairs. I've taken it there once before for a muffler. The staff is very nice and very helpful. They showed me the problem with the front brakes and they insisted that the rear brakes are in excellent shape (no need for repairs). And the friendly woman who runs the place didn't charge me for the tire rotation that I asked for because the wheels needed to be taken off for the brake repairs. She also threw in a discount. I'll definitely use them again.

They are honest, don?t try to sell you services you don?t need, have good turn around time and are up front with you about how long a service will take, have coupons available on their website, and offer a lifetime warrenty on brake jobs (you just pay for labor when you need new pads). Fast, reliable service I brought my car in for a brake job and found the service to be fast and reliable. They didn't try to "upsell" me on services or repairs I didn't need. They even offered me a special discount because my husband had brought his car there previously. They also offer oil changes and other basic repairs. Located close to the Metra North line Central stop which makes it convient for downtown commuters to pick up/drop off their car after work.
