I visited Merle Norman today to purchase a foundation to wear on my wedding day. I consulted with Amy, and she was nothing short of amazing. She spent over an hour and a half teaching me about Merle Norman’s skin care products and makeup. She even took the time to apply bridal makeup. I was absolutely blown away by her makeup application; it was flawless, and she really listened to what I told her I liked and didn’t like. My daughter and I were in Statesboro for her ballgame and we had about 30 minutes after the game to find the Merle Norman store and purchase some make up. We rushed in at 5:30 and the gal was super sweet and very helpful! She took her time, not seeming to worry that they were due to close at 6 and instructed my daughter on how to apply the foundation, why the primer was so important, how to clean the brushes, etc. It was such a pleasant visit and the salon is beautiful! My grandma has been using this brand since she was 18. I just wanted to see what it was like, but they did a full makeover on me. It looks so amazing. Blonde Amy was chipper and welcoming. Brunette Amy was spunky and fun and serious enough to do a banging job on my makeup. She listened to me and always asked what I would like best before she did anything. It was awesome.
