I had a disappointing experience working with Dr. Alex Merkulov. My biggest concern was communication. I often felt that he did not fully listen to what I was trying to communicate and instead heard what he wanted to hear. Things were not always explained clearly, which made it difficult to feel understood or on the same page. It’s unfortunate because clear, two-way communication is extremely important when working with someone, and I did not feel that was present in my experience.
Dr. Merkulov is an exceptional doctor. Anytime that I have an ultrasound I’m always very nervous which is expected but Dr. Merkulov goes out of his way to make me feel comfortable and calm. He thoroughly explains the outcome of the ultrasound and makes sure I understand everything before I leave. I am very grateful to have such a compassionate doctor like Dr. Merkulov to help me.
