I moved to Merivale about 2 1/2 years ago. The support staff are lovely and Dr. Yu is awesome! I very much appreciate that I can get an appointment super quickly if there is an immediate concern. I have called many times just for advice about behaviour and care and the staff are very knowledgeable and have provided excellent advice. Cats don’t like going to the vet but mine are very comfortable in the environment at Merivale. I highly recommend this veterinary hospital.
We've been taking our senior cat with thyroid issues here for some time. I find the staff to be very compassionate and understanding (particularly when I call in tears). The vets offer levels of solutions, and are willing to get creative when my cat won't eat. I appreciate the candor regarding issues that could impact my senior cat in future, it's nice to be prepared. Everyone here clearly loves cats, and it shows.
