The front desk staff was not great, but I mentioned it to Dr. Mahin Kahn once and that was it. The whole staff apparently were told to shape up and they did. Which brings me to why this is a five-star in my book! Dr. Kahn is great! I went to him for anemia and he was caring and helpful. My anemia was really bad and he showed true concern and treated me quickly so I could enjoy life again. He's so good that my husband sees him, too, for another issue. First off.... Get a handicap accessible door on the entrance.... Had my Mom in for an appointment and it was terrible even trying to get in the door to this office. While we where sitting in the waiting area we personally witnessed 3 other elderly folks having so much difficulty getting wheel chairs through the door we had to get up and help them. Which sigways into my next point, three staff sitting at the front desk doing nothing and not one of them could be bothered to get up and help the elderly patients in through the n... read more
Abigail Kick is the best hands down. She is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. She listens well and cares about her patients. She makes sure to ask the right questions to ensure the best care is provided.
I am extremely disappointed with the treatment I received at Meritus Hematology. After scheduling my appointment a year in advance, I was told it needed to be rescheduled to accommodate a more "critical" patient, which I found unacceptable. When I finally saw the practitioner, Abigail Kick CRNP she was dismissive and negative about my health concerns, particularly when I asked about a possible blood disorder such as polycythemia vera.
