We have stayed here once prior in 2023 and had a great time without issue. But my wife and I recently stayed here (9/2025) and had such a bad experience with the accounting department/customer service that I felt compelled to write this review. Long story short, the hotel checked us in improperly, thought we didn’t pre pay for our room through Costco Travel (which we did), keys stopped working one day into our stay, front desk staff was unhelpful, and the kicker…fraudulently charged us over $1k dollars for a room we didn’t s... read more

Beautiful property. Nicely appointed rooms. Trade off is that the hotel is not walkable to downtown
I stayed at the Meritage Hotel on Sept 26 for my milestone birthday and had one of the worst check-in experiences I’ve ever had. The front desk ran my card, the system timed out, but my bank still shows the charge. They tried again, my bank flagged it as duplicate, yet staff insisted nothing went through. Days later, my bank confirmed it was not a hold, it is a valid charge still sitting on my account.
